As a kid I was intensely curious...constantly asking questions like "Why did he do that?" or "What do you really mean?" that grown ups couldn't or wouldn't answer. I really wanted to know what was underneath it all.

    Fast forward...after almost 20 years in corporate Europe, split between England and Germany and ranging from the more traditional shipping industry to progressive hi-tech during its boom years of the 80s, I quit. To satisfy my curiosity about what makes people tick, I began my post-corporate life by completing an MA in Applied Psychology (University of Santa Monica).

     The lucky combination of my training in psychology with the business knowledge, project management skills, and leadership abilities I'd acquired during my corporate career, turned out to be what many business owners needed. Business after all is as much about human behavior as it is about professional skills and nitty-gritty business principles.

     In 1996, when "coaching" was a word still associated only with sports, and the profession as we know it today was still in its infancy, I started working with entrepreneurs to help them develop their businesses while staying aligned with their vision and values.

     Today my work has evolved to focus specifically on marketing and writing marketing materials, both of which are grounded in human behavior and motivation. I am an ongoing student of both marketing and copywriting: I've learned from the best in the business.

     From my base in sunny Santa Barbara (Southern California), I now offer individual consulting, ongoing coaching, writing, review of current materials, and products. On a daily basis I work with committed and motivated small business owners and sole entrepreneurs to help them streamline their marketing and write compelling marketing materials so that they can have thriving businesses that make money.
