After a long and successful career in the computer industry, Barbara took a trip to Scotland where her heart was touched by the calm, soothing sound of the Celtic harp.
Captivated by this elegant instrument, she began taking lessons from Verlene Schermer, a well-known harpist in Northern California. Very quickly, her new passion came to light. She returned to Scotland several times to study with one of its top harpists, Alison Kinnaird.
Now, from hospitals to care facilities, from weddings to holiday dinners, from Orange County to Ventura, the joy and gentleness of Barbara's Celtic Harp helps her audiences slow down. Her quiet, lyrical music creates a comforting atmosphere where you can relax, listen and enjoy the moment.
